<\/p>\nSEPPI M. is pushing into roadbuilding and heavy soil stabilization with the introduction of the MAXICRUSHR xd, a new attachment that combines deep soil mixing with high-capacity stone crushing.<\/p>\n
The machine is designed to handle conditions where traditional stabilization tillers fall short\u2014particularly in rocky or mixed soils where embedded material needs to be broken down before a stable base can be created. The MAXICRUSHR xd tackles both tasks, crushing stone while blending and stabilizing the subgrade.<\/p>\n
The attachment is making its Italian debut at the SAMOTER construction equipment trade fair in Verona, marking SEPPI M.\u2019s move into more demanding infrastructure applications.<\/p>\n

Built for road and infrastructure work, the MAXICRUSHR xd is capable of crushing stones up to 50 cm (20 inches) in diameter while working soil to depths of 50 cm (20 inches). It can also process asphalt layers up to 8 cm (3 inches), allowing material to be recycled directly on site rather than hauled off.<\/p>\n
That combination opens up a range of applications, including road and highway construction, subgrade stabilization on industrial sites, rehabilitation of existing roads, and infrastructure work in forestry and agriculture. It\u2019s also positioned for heavy civil projects where deep, uniform mixing is required before building.<\/p>\n
At the core of the machine is a 92 cm diameter rotor equipped with 112 BOLD V-LOCK tools, designed to stay productive in abrasive conditions while delivering consistent mixing. A key design feature is the internal drive system, which allows the unit to maintain a compact overall width\u2014under 3 meters\u2014while still offering a 2.5-meter working width and deep operating capability.<\/p>\n
The MAXICRUSHR xd is equipped with SEPPI M.\u2019s ADAM drive system, allowing the attachment to operate under load across a wide range of tilt positions. Depth control is handled through adjustable guides that help maintain a consistent working plane, which is critical for follow-on operations.<\/p>\n

Material flow and mixing are managed through a multi-stage housing system. The front flap can be opened at deeper working depths to prevent buildup, while the rear section creates a larger mixing chamber. A hydraulically controlled rear flap then finishes the job, leaving a level, evenly processed surface.<\/p>\n
With the MAXICRUSHR xd, SEPPI M. is clearly targeting contractors who need to stabilize and rebuild challenging ground conditions. The ability to crush, mix and finish is where this attachment stands out.<\/p>\n
