However, rebuilding is a long and complicated process with many uncertain factors that keep business owners and families from returning to everyday life.

Businesses in charge of rebuilding communities or buildings have several concerns: meeting deadlines, adhering to safety guidelines, and all while worrying about the cost of materials, and then the demolition and construction process. When uncertain factors such as how reliable equipment is and how material is going to arrive at your job site, start to pile up, then companies struggle to meet their deadlines, delaying their progress making the wait that families and businesses have to endure, even longer.

One way our customers managed the parts of their projects that they thought would be impossible to predict, was to purchase reliable equipment. With dependable machinery on their job site, our customers didn’t need to worry about what materials their machines could process or when supplies were going to arrive on their site. Our customers turned to MB Crusher’s equipment, knowing they could depend on our units and let them get the job done in a timely manner.

An aspect of the rebuilding process is clean up, whether it’s clearing the materials from a demolished building, or the debris such as fallen trees that block the roads. In situations where clean up happens because of a severe storm and debris blocks the roads, it’s imperative that the roads are cleared so people can access their homes and businesses.

A company charged with cleaning up after a storm only had a grapple capable of picking up large material, leaving smaller objects obstructing the streets. To clear the roads entirely of debris, they would need another unit to handle the smaller waste since it often fell through the grapple’s jaws. If they decided to get another unit, they would need to wait for it arrive at their job site, and depending on the material they were picking up, they would need to switch between the two units. Then, if their equipment broke down, they would have to delay their clean up efforts to get the different grapples fixed. Overall, their plan didn’t give them the results that they needed to stick to a schedule.

Ultimately, the best decision was to change the equipment they were using and inquired about the MB-G900 sorting grapple, mainly interested in the different kits and the high clasping strength. Once they purchased the unit and the multi-purpose blade kit, they handled the various sized debris and cleared the roads so the streets were accessible again.
Video https://vimeo.com/442392747

Receiving material is a difficult process under normal circumstances by needing to purchase and haul the supplies. The process then turns into a headache if the job site is surrounded by heavy traffic or if there’s a sudden demand for raw materials, causing the costs to rise. When you can’t continue the job without the material, you’re not only waiting for it to arrive, but now you’re rushing to meet deadlines to finish the project in a timely manner.

In Brooklyn, our customer dealt with transporting the material that they received from their demolition jobs to their yard in Staten Island. With traffic a typical problem for their company, they frequently dealt with delays and grew tired of waiting and the costs that came with it. After dealing with expensive fees of having the material hauled to their yard, they instead wanted to recycle the material on their job site.

After looking at their options such as stationary and mobile crushers, they decided that they would need something smaller to travel to their site, considering the traffic and tight roads. Their only, and best, solution for their problem was the BF135.8 crusher bucket and was going to see the unit’s capabilities for their upcoming project: repaving a poorly maintained parking lot.

The parking lot that the company needed to repave, that due to lack of maintenance, wasn’t considered usable. However, with the things that are within your control, such as the equipment that you’re using, should be helping you rather than being another source of stress.

When your project’s location is set in an area with heavy traffic, finishing the project on time is imperative.

Our customer in Germany was in charge of restoring the BV Augustusbrucke bridge to its original state after heavy flooding damaged the structure a few years prior. Since the company needed to grind down the grout lines and then move the cement that filled the bridge’s arches, the equipment that they’d use had to be delicate and not damage the structure. Not only was the bridge’s structure a concern during the restoration, but they also needed to grind down the material in two months before moving onto the next phase.

To finish their job and still remain on schedule, they purchased an MB-R800 drum cutter.
