Strengthening its commitment to providing the agricultural industry with quality commercial worksite products, John\u00a0Deere is introducing several new additions to its ever-expanding Worksite Pro\u2122 attachments line. These attachments include two silage defacers (AD7 and AD11), five bale spears (AB21, AB31, AB32, AB42 and AB43), and a bale hugger (AH80). All attachments are compatible with John\u00a0Deere skid steers, compact track loaders and compact wheel loaders that are equipped with a skid steer-style Quik-Tatch\u2122 coupler, and most competitive models.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Unique to the Worksite Pro lineup, the new AD7 and AD11 silage defacers are ideal for the removal of haylage and silage from bunkers. Allowing operators to loosen silage while maintaining a smooth, compacted bunker, the tool pierces, separates and rakes without cutting or reducing the size of the silage, helping to ensure complete blending. The open design of the silage provides optimal operator visibility, while adjustable guides allow a deeper cut up to three inches.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>For transporting baled organic materials, John\u00a0Deere offers two new attachment advances to help farmers handle exceedingly large bales and increase productivity. Five new bale spear attachments (AB21, AB31, AB32, AB42 and AB43) are designed for loading, carrying and stacking bales up to 4,000 pounds (1,814 kg). Offering optimal rigidity and capacity, these new spears are available in three different configurations of single, dual and triple to help match numerous bale handling sizes. For operators who prefer a tighter grip for stacking and loading, but need the lift capacity for large bales, the AH80 bale hugger is designed with round tubing to provide maximum durability while preventing damage to wrapped bale coverings. With a maximum load of 2,400 pounds (1,088.62 kg) of round or rectangular bales, the bale hugger provides constant pressure that eliminates the risk of dropping the bales.<\/p>\n
