Rich Currie Appointed to VP of Sales at Exodus Machines and Divisions Including ShearCore

Exodus Machines, headquartered in Superior, Wisconsin, has expanded its leadership team with the addition of Rich Currie as vice president of sales. The move is related to company founder and current President Bruce Bacon’s transition toward retirement by cutting back to part-time work in 2020. Currie will oversee the sales and marketing efforts of Exodus Machines and its divisions: BladeCore, Connect Work Tools, OilQuickUSA and ShearCore.

Currie has more than 18 years of experience in the demolition and scrap recycling equipment industries. He was most recently the vice president of specialty sales for Stanley Infrastructure, with responsibility for the Jewell, LaBounty and CWS product lines.

“I could not be more excited to join the family here at Exodus Machines,” Currie says.

“I am delighted Rich chose to join the Exodus family,” Kevin Boreen, the company’s CEO says.

In a news release announcing his appointment, Exodus says Currie has a strong background in product development and fostering strategic relationships to drive above-market revenue growth across product segments and regions.

“It was a long search for the right person, and I knew from our first conversation that Rich was the right fit,” Boreen says. “Rich’s integrity, commitment to quality and his focus on relationships line up perfectly with our corporate principles; coupling that with his extensive background in heavy equipment and hydraulic attachments makes it a winning combination!”

“Our mutual philosophy is as simple as it is powerful: hire the best people, deliver the best products and focus relentlessly on customer satisfaction,” Currie says. “I am looking forward to building on the great work that has been done by Bruce, Kevin and the entire Exodus team in Superior. Together we will continue our impressive growth trajectory.”
